Job Overview
This permanent, part‐time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Service Location and Hours
Service Location: Beveridge VIC, 3753. You'll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday.
BSC: 7am‐9am
ASC: 3pm‐6pm
Total hours: 25
The Role
As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high‐quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality care and create memorable experiences for children.
* Engage with the school community: attend events, assemblies.
* Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children.
* Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
* Play and have fun with primary school‐aged children.
* Support compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
* Ideally some experience working in before or after school care or in education (training provided).
* Thrive in a fast‐paced environment and remain a big kid at heart.
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
* Strong team player with excellent problem‐solving skills and a can‐do, positive attitude.
* Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‐aged children.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, love to have fun.
* Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working toward it) as per ACECQA standards.
