About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse in Charge, you'll lead and support our care team during your shifts to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You'll play a key role in coordinating resident care, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Duties:
* Lead the clinical team during your shift, ensuring high standards of care
* Coordinate and oversee the care provided to residents
* Complete clinical documentation and ensure compliance with aged care standards
* Support and mentor care staff and ENs
* Administer medications and monitor residents' health
* Manage emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
* Liaise with families, GPs, allied health professionals, and management
Essential Requirements:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Proven leadership skills and experience in a similar role
* Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Strong clinical and documentation skills
* A passion for aged care and person-centred service
* Flexibility to work across shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends
* Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
