We are looking for a dedicated Transport Officer to join our team. As a Transport Officer, you will be responsible for transporting elderly residents from various locations while providing assistance as required.
About the Role
This role requires a commitment of 16 hours per week, split between different locations. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Pick up and drop off our elderly residents from various locations, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Review suitable venues in the community that meet the needs of our elderly residents, enhancing their quality of life.
* You will also be responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle, ensuring it is always in good condition.
To Be Successful You Will Have
* Previous experience driving passenger vehicles, with a strong focus on road safety.
* A current Light Rigid (LR/MR) Licence, enabling you to operate a variety of vehicles safely.
* A current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain, allowing you to provide immediate assistance in case of an emergency.
* The ability to work a variety of shifts, including flexible hours to coordinate/attend after-hours events.
