Qualified Chef – Chalambar Golf Club
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Qualified Chef to join our dedicated team at Chalambar Golf Club. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef to showcase their skills in a vibrant and supportive environment. Our venue caters for up to 200 guests, offering a mix of à la carte dining, casual bistro service, and a variety of functions and events throughout the year.
The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality, consistent dishes while maintaining excellent food presentation and hygiene standards. You'll work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service, efficient preparation, and creative menu development.

Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for à la carte, bistro, and event service
· Assist in menu planning, specials, and seasonal updates
· Always maintain food safety and hygiene standards
· Manage prep, service, and stock rotation efficiently
· Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team
· Support with training and mentoring junior staff
· Contribute to smooth, consistent, and high-standard service during events and daily operations
Requirements:
· Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (must be provided)
· Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
· Strong attention to detail and time management skills
· Team-oriented attitude with a passion for quality food
· Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and event shifts
