Financial Communications Specialist
This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver transparent, credible messaging to various stakeholders. You will be responsible for crafting and delivering clear, accurate, and timely communications related to quarterly results, annual reports, and market-sensitive announcements.
You will act as a primary point of contact for journalists, building strong relationships and serving as a trusted source of information on financial performance and strategy. Additionally, you will draft and coordinate press releases, Q&A documents, and key messaging for financial milestones, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
This role requires strategic insight, excellent communication skills in both Danish and English, and the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. You must also be able to manage multiple priorities with agility and excel at stakeholder management.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Leading Ørsted's external financial communications
* Acting as a primary media contact for financial and business journalists
* Drafting and coordinating press releases, Q&A documents, and key messaging for financial milestones
* Advising senior management on media strategy, narrative development, and risk management
* Supporting reputation management and broader corporate storytelling
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong background in financial communications, including results announcements and investor-facing messaging, or equivalent experience. You should also have substantial experience in media relations, ideally within a corporate headquarters or listed company environment.
