The Team Leader role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations within the Production function while supporting the supervisor.
Position Details
* Location: Cavan (SA)
* Position: Full Time Permanent
* Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 10:00pm
Responsibilities
* Ensure efficient operations to achieve business KPI's across Safety – People and Food, Productivity and Team Engagement.
* Lead the team, coordinate workloads, and provide support to other team leaders on site.
* Monitor issues and ensure quality standards and product targets are met.
* Develop team members by focusing on individual performance and needs.
* Support a culture of Safety and Continuous Improvement.
* Comply with company Quality, GMP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies, standards and procedures.
* Provide daily reporting to the Supervisor as required.
* Induct new production operators and labour hire into the area.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of FMCG or Manufacturing experience with 2 years in team leader / 2IC role.
* Certificate IV in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology or Business (desirable).
* Green Belt – Lean Six Sigma & HACCP, GMP and WHS training (desirable).
* Ability to organise and prioritise while working in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience using production downtime systems and problem solving where required.
* Collaborative team player with an ability to lead a diverse group of people, showcasing strong communication skills.
* A good understanding of safety, food safety, and quality.
* Awareness/knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing.
* A passion for food.
