Job Description
About the role:
This role reports to the Procurement Manager and plays a key role in ensuring the effective implementation and continuous improvement of contractor management practices across Port Waratah. Working collaboratively with Health & Safety and other stakeholders, the Contractor Management Coordinator ensures that contractor engagement and performance align with Port Waratah's strategic and compliance objectives. This role is permanent part-time (0.6FTE) with flexibility to structure work hours across 3-5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and further develop Port Waratah's Contractor Management System (CMS), ensuring it supports contract holders in achieving performance outcomes.
- Support and partner with Contract Holders in CMS accountabilities and procedures.
- Coordinate contractor accreditation, compliance reviews, and participate in contractor forums.
- Support contract transition and succession planning, including kick-off meetings, performance reviews, and exit strategies.
- Manage contractor systems including Avetta, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

- Qualifications in Contractor Management, or equivalent, or extensive experience in a procurement-related field.
- Experience in maintaining contractor management systems.
- Experience in contractor and contract process management.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
