We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Acute Aged Health Unit at CRGH!
About The Role
Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
The NUM Level 2 provides strong clinical and operational leadership, fostering a culture that prioritises patient safety, quality improvement and accountability. The role oversees day-to-day operations of the Acute Aged Health unit while ensuring safe staffing, effective patient flow and coordinated multidisciplinary care.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven leadership experience in nursing management within an acute healthcare environment.
* A strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and clinical governance.
* Excellent communication, decision-making and team leadership skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage patient flow and operational demands within a busy acute unit.
* Experience using NSW Health systems including:
o HealthRoster
o IMS+
o Electronic Patient Journey Board (EPJB)
o Patient Flow Portal (PFP)
o StaffLink
o PAT (Patient Administration System)
