Description Ideal Candidate Profile: Experienced in contributing to, or leading project contracting strategy development, including risk identification and management Experience leading market engagement, tendering, negotiation, contractor selection and other pre-award activities for significant scopes of work Experience in administering or leading teams in post award contract activities, including claims and closeout Good working knowledge of AS and Defence contract forms, ECI and head contracts Ability to ‘deploy’ into client organisations, or act as the trusted adviser on particular issues or client team capability uplift. Experience in drafting, improving or operating in alignment to best practice contracts management lifecycle governance Ability to maintain collaborative relationships within commercial dynamics Being an active leader in the team and developing expansion opportunities for a growing business. Skills And Experiences About you: To be considered you need to have 5 - 15 years relevant experience working in a commercial or contracts role in the capital projects sector. In particular you should be able to demonstrate: Contracts experience in a project-based, infrastructure, natural resources or other industrial setting Tertiary qualification(s) in law, engineering, commerce or business management, including procurement and/or contract management. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contract interfaces Superior stakeholder and client management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong business acumen and critical thinking able to work autonomously.
