About the opportunity
A strategic and hands-on IT Manager is sought to lead and optimise all aspects of IT operations, whilst still 'getting your hands dirty' working for a large, Australia and NZ based FMCG group. With existing reliance external vendors, and group operations this organisation is on a journey to drive its own IT roadmap, capacity and capability.
Reporting to the group's CIO, this role ensures technology aligns with broader organisational goals working across an Australia and NZ whilst also ensuring constant availability with existing systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
You'll lead daily IT operations across infrastructure, applications, and systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability, that is the hand's on BAU part.....However you will also oversee key tech enhancements and projects to moderinise their architecture especially across the immediate work as they implement new EPR and HRIS across the group.
Collaboration is central to the role. You'll work with the CFO and CIO to align IT strategy with business objectives, while partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions. You'll also manage IT contractors and vendors, ensuring service levels and governance standards are met.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experience IT professional to come into a large $350 million + turnover FMCG group, get their arms around their IT function, make it their own, drive enhancements, build a time and still keep your hands on the tools
Experience you will need to have
You will be an experienced IT professional who has help a similar level role, ideally across the FCMG or Manufacturing environment. You will understand and have experience of monolithic architecture and/or complex environment. It is crucial you have IT project management experience and have been involved in leading IT enhancements, especially relating to ERP, CRM, HRIS etc. You will also be comfortable still being hands on, you must be humble enough to get involved when required to fix basic problems as well as lead the IT strategy.
This role is based in South Brisbane requiring on-site work with some flex. You will also be expected to travel to other sites occasionally across Aus and NZ.
