About the role
An opportunity to join the Acute Musculoskeletal physiotherapy outpatient services to support the provision of assessment and therapy for our patients referred from Emergency, acute bed based orthopaedic services post a hospital admission and Orthopaedic Specialist Clinics.
The successful applicant will join a well-established team of experience musculoskeletal physiotherapists, with a robust clinical supervision program supported by Grade 3 and Grade 4 physiotherapists.
About you
You will be a dynamic, enthusiastic team player within physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams, actively seeking to collaborate with others to improve outcomes & experiences for your patients. You will actively seek to support and partner with service improvement being undertaken by Grade 3 and Grade 4 Clinical Lead within Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Essential:
4. Recognised physiotherapy qualification
5. Significant clinical experience in the physiotherapy management of acute musculoskeletal conditions and orthopaedic rehabilitation (both conservative and post-operative)
6. Current Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
7. A strong commitment to high quality best evidence care
8. Demonstration of a drive to learn in this environment
9. Excellent organisational skills - demonstrating opportunities to improve and change
10. High level communication skills – both written and oral
Desirable:
11. Relevant Post graduate qualification completed, commenced or demonstrated intention to commence
12. Previous experience as a Physiotherapist Grade 2
