Workplace Host – Barista and Boardroom Attendant role at ISS, located in Melbourne, Australia. Full‐time position.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the preparation of event & meeting spaces, including AV and furniture setup and pack down to meet client expectations.
* Ensure meeting rooms are reset and stocked and resolve any equipment issues promptly.
* Greeting guests, cleaning event and meeting spaces and clearing tables.
* Working closely with the commercial catering team to coordinate menu requests.
* Support the catering team in general operational tasks, as required.
* Provide a friendly and welcoming experience for guests using client‐facing workspaces and attending internal events, acting as the face of our clients' brand.
* Proactive and predictive service delivery and excellence.
* Maintain the event and meeting spaces on assigned commercial site/floors as the corporate showcase to all visitors.
* Monday to Friday between 7:00a.m. and 7:00p.m.

Minimum Criteria
* Strong experience in hospitality (food & beverage or banquet) or customer service role with an outstanding track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Physical capability to move heavy items as needed and practice safe handling at all times.
* Basic level of food and beverage service skills including greeting guests, cleaning and clearing.
* Excellent personal presentation, with well‐developed verbal & written communication skills.
* Professional C‐suite engagement skills.
* Excellent multi‐tasking skills.
* Demonstrated ability managing stakeholder relationships.
* Sound time management skills, self‐motivated, organised, and the ability to work unsupervised.
* Able to provide a clear police check dated in the last 6 months and other compliance requirements.
* Defence experience highly desirable.
