Project Manager Opportunity
Northern Star Mining Services is offering a challenging opportunity for an Underground Project Engineer to join their team, based at the Operations Centre in Kalgoorlie and working across underground gold mining operations in Western Australia.

You will be responsible for managing a variety of projects, including operations reporting, leading optimisation projects, contributing to business strategy, conducting budget and cost analysis, and coordinating key projects across multiple operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead process optimisation initiatives from inception to completion, focusing on enhancing productivity, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company goals.
* Work closely with senior management and project managers to ensure collaboration and project alignment across sites and departments.
* Assist in the reporting and analysis of performance, identifying key trends and areas for improvement.
* Manage contractors for project work, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
* Monitor and contribute to the management of key performance indicators (KPIs) for each division, driving continuous performance improvements and productivity.
* Assist in the development and management of annual budgets, identifying potential areas for cost savings.
* Contribute to risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
1. Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 3 years Underground Mining Experience.
3. WA Underground Supervisor's Certificate of Competency.
