THE ROLE
The Strategic Communications and Education Officer supports the planning and implementation of communication and education activities across relevant channels and regulated sectors for the Social Services Regulator (SSR).
As part of a team, you will support the SSR to translate complex information into simple, readable, and compelling messages.
You will support the planning and implementation of major events for staff, stakeholders, and the social services sector, including webinars that support duty holders to comply with their obligations.
You will collaborate to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to communications and education.
This will include high-quality communications and administrative support to the Communications and Education Branch, supporting the planning and implementation of communication activities across relevant channels and regulated sectors for the Social Services Regulator.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Under direction, produce communications collateral to support the effective communication strategies that support duty holders to understand and comply with their obligations.
* Develop communication materials for use across all communications channels including social media collateral, web copy, and other ad hoc communications as required, with a focus on website, digital and multimedia, to ensure that stakeholders receive targeted, accurate and timely information.
* Understand the sensitives involved in creating communications for diverse audiences and the importance of inclusive and tailored language.
* Use graphic design platforms, such as Canva, to create social media graphics, presentations, posters,
* documents and other visual content.
