Position Description

Team Leader - Enrolled Nurse Qualified

Full Time - to work across Calvary Kingswood Aged Care (Mitcham) 60 hrs per fortnight and Calvary Brighton South Aged Care 16 hrs per fortnight

About The Role

The Team Leader plays an integral role in the provision of high quality care to our residents at all times. The Team Leader supports the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care to residents across the home whilst actively ensuring the individual needs, wishes and goals of each resident is met within an environment where they feel supported, valued and treated with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

Provide social and emotional support to all residents ensuring that care provision is holistic and person centredSupport the coordination of the care needs of residents across the home including medication management, nutrition and hydration, pressure care management Lead/supervise care on shift, within their designated wing or areaPerform medication related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation and Calvary policies, procedures for delegation and supervision

About You

Diploma of Enrolled Nursing with AHPRA Registration High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthinessAn effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and writtenAbility to understand and use information technology and programs Working knowledge of WH&S; and Infection ControlA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
