Position: Business Development Manager Location: West Perth Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 Super Coms Job Type: Permanent Position Overview: OUI Recruitment is searching for a Business Development Manager to join a Perth-based IT company. This is a newly created role designed to drive business expansion and revenue growth through proactive outreach and new client acquisition. Perks: Friendly, supportive team environment with genuine collaboration Excellent company culture including recognition programmes, celebrations, and team building events Flexible working arrangements in a modern workplace Strong focus on professional and personal development Work with cutting-edge IT solutions and services Autonomy to drive your own success and build your territory Supportive leadership that values growth and innovation Commission and bonus structure on top of base salary Roles and Responsibilities: Drive new business acquisition through proactive outreach, cold calling, and strategic prospecting Identify and target potential clients across key industries and sectors Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent outreach activities Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand prospective clients' business challenges Develop and present compelling business cases that demonstrate value and ROI Build strong relationships with key decision-makers including C-suite, IT managers, and operations leaders Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build brand awareness Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions for prospective clients Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM systems Develop and execute creative outreach strategies to stand out in a competitive market Role Requirements: Proven hunter mentality with demonstrated success in new business acquisition Strong track record in B2B sales with evidence of consistently meeting or exceeding targets Experience with proactive outreach including cold calling, networking, and strategic prospecting Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Resilient, persistent, and self-motivated with genuine drive to succeed Ability to build rapport quickly and establish credibility with senior stakeholders Strategic thinker who can identify and capitalise on market opportunities Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously Comfortable working independently whilst being a collaborative team player Growth mindset with strong sense of accountability and ownership Proficiency with CRM systems and sales pipeline management Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and industry events Australian working rights required Desirable Experience: Previous experience in B2B sales within IT services, SaaS, technology, or professional services Understanding of managed services or IT solutions (not essential - can be learned) Experience selling to SME and mid-market businesses Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling approaches Track record of building a territory or client base from scratch We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
