Independent Brands Australia (IBA) is the retailer arm of Metcash's liquor pillar and the largest network of independent liquor retailers in Australia, supporting brands such as Cellarbrations, The Bottle‐O, IGA Liquor, Porters Liquor, Thirsty Camel and Duncans.
About The Opportunity
As a trusted partner to our retail members, you will champion the success of IBA's market‐leading brands by identifying strategic opportunities to grow membership, enhance brand presence, and uplift performance. Covering the Northwest Region, you will build strong commercial relationships, provide expert retail advice, and support members with initiatives that deliver measurable business results. The role involves approximately 2–3 nights of travel per month to effectively engage with members across this regional territory.
In this Role
* Review and plan based on budgets, balance scorecard and new growth opportunities.
* Conduct routine business and category reviews with each member within your territory on a quarterly and annual basis, aligning with ALM's core business objectives.
* Drive IBA key initiatives and programs, including promotional opportunities and digital integration.
* Deliver margin, value and quality to members through our IBA owned and exclusive portfolio.
* Drive core IBA promotional and key retail programs while ensuring banner standards are maintained and championed.
* Ensure a rolling 4‐week journey plan is maintained with quarterly store surveys and tasks completed through our CRM tool.
* Execute the store development budget to ensure the network of stores within each banner maintains brand standards and can achieve "Best Store in Town" in the given local area of the store.
* Lead top‐line engagement of any store refurbishment, refresh or internal/external stakeholders relevant to IBA and/or supplier within your territory.
You're Likely a Match If
* Retail experience within the liquor, retail or sales industries.
* Sound knowledge of the independent liquor and FMCG industry.
* High level of customer service.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Sound financial skills.High level of training and communication skills.
