Data modeller (canberra)

Job Summary

As a IT Data Modeller, you will architect and model data to department projects/programs using the SDLC and Agile development while maximizing the EDW environment and associated technologies such as Teradata, Informatica, Cloudera, SAS, Cognos, Qlik, Oracle, and PowerBi.

Duties

• Present valid proposed data models with stakeholders before developing a data dictionary for physical data implementation.
• Manage productive stakeholder relationships and associated risks.
• Scope, source, and optimize data for analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of the system development life cycle.
• Understanding of data modelling principles for data warehouses.
• Programming experience in SAS DI.
• Experience in data warehousing.
• Agile experience is desirable.

Eligibility

• Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance mandatory.

Contract Details

Contract: 10‐month contract with two 12‐month extensions.

Location

Canberra or Queensland.

Work From Home

WFH 2 days per week.
