Join the team at Hilton Adelaide! We are seeking a reliable and detail‐oriented Laundry Attendant (Wash Person) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, uniforms, and other laundry items to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Hilton Adelaide is centrally located, overlooking Victoria Square.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate industrial washing, drying, and pressing machines efficiently.
• Sort, wash, and fold linens, towels, and uniforms according to fabric and cleaning requirements.
• Monitor and maintain proper usage of laundry chemicals and supplies.
• Inspect laundered items for stains, damages, or quality concerns and take corrective action.
• Ensure the laundry area is clean, organized, and complies with workplace safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and reporting when supplies need replenishment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a commercial laundry, hospitality, or healthcare setting (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull laundry carts and bags.
• Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
