**About the Opportunity**
Are you ready to make a real impact in a thriving and diverse community? South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) is seeking two passionate and motivated Dental Officers, Level 1 to join our Oral Health team.

These full-time positions run Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, offering excellent work-life balance. You'll have a unique opportunity to deliver essential dental care across a variety of community settings, gaining broad clinical experience while working alongside a supportive team of experienced dentists, oral health therapists, and dental assistants.

As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to improving oral health outcomes through patient-centred, preventative care. If you're a dedicated clinician with strong communication skills, a team-focused mindset and a genuine commitment to public health, we'd love to hear from you.

**What You'll be Doing**
Provide evidence based clinical care to patients, within their scope of practice, resulting in the best quality care that public dentistry can achieve. Position is based at Yagoona, Bankstown, Liverpool, Fairfield, Ingleburn, Narellan and Rosemeadow on a rotational basis based on clinical demand.

**How to Apply**
- Unrestricted registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated proficiency in the delivery of high quality dental services within the scope of general dental practice
- Proficiency in minor oral surgery, denture prosthetics, endodontics, children's dentistry and management of medically compromised patients
- Commitment to the principles of public sector dentistry and sound evidence-based dental practice.
- Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication
- Ability to work as a contributing member of a clinical team
- An understanding of current concepts in clinical practice and demonstrated understanding of infection control principles
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
