Catering Manager Position
About the Role:
As a Catering Manager, you will oversee operations at our site. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a catering background and a commitment to safety, quality, and team development.
This role involves managing daily catering requirements, ensuring effective management in areas such as food production, menu planning, dining room services, safety, health, and environment, customer service, staff supervision, compliance, administration, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities:
* Manage daily catering requirements
* Ensure effective management in areas such as food production, menu planning, dining room services, safety, health, and environment
* Provide excellent customer service
* Supervise staff
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
* Perform administrative tasks
* Liaise with clients
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Exceptional administrative and computer skills
* Stable & progressive management experience within a remote environment
* A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
* A motivated, constructive, and professional 'can-do' attitude
* Resourcefulness, resilience, and enthusiasm
* Adherence to food & general safety practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
* Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
* Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
* Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
* A manual driver's license (preferred) and forklift ticket (highly desirable)
