The Role
Millennium has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at Newcastle. This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers. We have multiple casual positions available, with shifts across weekends and weekdays. This position will be based on award wages.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
* Spot cleaning of furnishings
* Sweeping and mopping
* Toilet cleaning
* Rubbish collection, Waste disposal throughout the airport
* Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
* Dusting of all hard surfaces
* Plane turn around cleaning
About You
* Demonstrated cleaning experience in a commercial environment would be an advantage
* Hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
* Eligible to pass an AusCheck background check
* Current Australian National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
* Proven experience of working in a team successfully
* The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent customer service skills
* Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work
* Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards
* Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required
* Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus
Other requirementsMust hold, or be willing to obtain, a current Australian National Police Check. Current Australian National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
