About this role
This position involves promoting recovery and positive change of people with mental illness in a voluntary subacute inpatient care and intervention program.
Key responsibilities include assisting individuals to develop their capacity to live independently, supporting clients to develop their own support plans, collaborating with community and support agencies for integrated services, monitoring client progress against plans and providing up-to-date reports, and promoting independent living, health management, and social connectedness.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Mental Health or Peer Work
* Demonstrated ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds, specifically Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
* Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of Mental Health supports, including Recovery Framework principles
* Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
* Driver's License and reliable vehicle insurance

* COVID-19 with minimum two doses or hold medical exemption certificate

* Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR)
