We have a strong commitment to continuous improvement in teaching and learning through reflective practice with a focus on quality teaching and learning, as detailed in our business plan. The care we offer each and every student defines our purpose. We have a rigorous student services and wellbeing program which has been set up to ensure all our students are well cared for socially, emotionally, physically and academically. Staff and students work together to demonstrate our agreed values of 'Respect, Aspire and Resilience.'

The Role

We seek motivated applicants with a passion for teaching English at the secondary level. You will ideally have a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum for English and experience in Senior School courses, including Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR). In your role you will deliver a curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of all students, fostering an environment where every student is empowered to reach their full potential.

We are a school dedicated to the development of quality teaching and learning through our Whole School Instructional Framework and Instructional Coaching. Using Classroom Management Strategies and a restorative practice model helps teachers to be leaders in their classroom with the assistance of our CAT trained staff. Further support with more complex issues is available through our extensive pastoral care team consisting of team leaders, Year Coordinators, Student Services Managers and Associate Principals.

You should ideally possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, colleagues, and parents. Additionally, you should be an effective team member, contributing to a positive culture of success where students are motivated to achieve their personal best. We place value on linking learning with real‑world experiences, ensuring students gain currency for pathways beyond school.
