Our client is currently seeking Hatchery Assistants for their Hatchery in Mareeba. This role focuses on teamwork, safety, and working in a fast-paced environment. You'll be working in a poultry hatchery with various duties.
Starting at a rate of $31.61 p/h + $5 daily attendance bonus with the potential to gain more hours. Must be available for early morning starts and flexible with start times.
Shifts: Monday ,Tuesday ,Thursday & Friday starting from 7am - Working UP TO 30 hours per week.

Duties will include: (but not limited to)
* Counting hatched chicks
* Sorting eggs and stock rotation
* Cleaning transporter baskets
* Heavy lifting may be involved
* General site cleaning
* Operating a gurney
To be successful:
* Must reside in Mareeba or surrounding suburbs (NOT Cairns)
* Must have your own transport and driver's license
* No chickens, birds, or pigs at your residence (due to biosecurity protocols)
* Must be fit and healthy for physical tasks
* Great numeracy skills and attention to detail
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible and available for various shifts
* Must have Birth Certificate or Passport
