Queanbeyan offers an affordable lifestyle and is close to the city amenities of Canberra.Role ResponsibilitiesProvides complex, person-centered clinical consultancy for individuals, carers, and healthcare professionals in Mental Health, focusing on evidence-based practices and harm minimization, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.Selection CriteriaCurrent registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with minimum 5 years postgraduate experience, including 3 years in Mental Health services. Tertiary qualification in Mental Health or current enrolment in a postgraduate course is mandatory.Advanced skills in mental health assessments, management planning, and knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act 2007.Ability to conduct research, apply evidence-based practice, and engage in continuous quality improvement.Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.Proven leadership and supervision abilities, including providing education and support.Current unrestricted driver’s license and willingness to travel, including long distances and overnight stays.Additional RequirementsThis is a Category ‘A’ position requiring compliance with NSW Health vaccination policies, including influenza vaccination, especially for those working in Residential Aged Care Facilities.Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or have legal work rights in Australia.
