Role Overview
This position provides part-time support to a Specialist Learning Support Teacher and a Year 3 student with additional neurodiversity learning needs at our Bairnsdale Campus.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Education Support or Certificate III in Education Support with recent relevant experience. They will be skilled in working one-to-one with students with disabilities, collaborating with classroom teachers, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with the LST to provide consistency and reinforcement of strategies developed by the Learning Support Teacher.
* Deliver student-centred practice with dignity, respect, and positive regard.
* Support students across academic, social, and self-care contexts.
* Participate in professional development to enhance skills in key programs and strategies.
* Offer reliable support for the Learning Support Teacher's planning and release time.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold the student's dignity at all times.
