We are a leading renewable energy company in Australia, seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Sustainable Business Energy Solutions division. The position is based in either Melbourne or Adelaide and focuses on ensuring high quality, safe, and efficient solar installation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct pre‐installation site inspections, quality audits, HSE audits, and site supervision for new projects.
* Perform quality assurance and HSE monitoring activities during the life cycle of solar installations.
* Lead and support safe, high‐quality solar installation and maintenance activities, including pre‐sales inspections, tender meetings, routine O&M inspections, incident response, and outage response.
* Maintain and enhance the Integrated Management System, incorporating lessons learned from field activities.
* Act as the electrical licence holder and/or technical nominee to ensure compliance with all Australian laws, regulations, standards, permits and codes.
* Ensure contractor engagement and project activities comply with AGL's contractor management framework.
* Assist with incident and near‐miss investigations, incident reports, and corrective action closure.
Qualifications
* SAA Accredited & Licensed A‐Grade Electrician.
* Proven experience in commercial rooftop solar installations, battery installations and related field activities.
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* High attention to detail and sound troubleshooting skills.
* Willingness to travel to AGL solar sites and interstate as required.
Location
Docklands, VIC 3008 (state‐wide service coverage from Melbourne or Adelaide).
