FIFO Shutdown from Perth to Port Hedland — Scope: 3rd March up to 13th March; Roster: 12-hour shifts working Days & Nights; Variety of future works as part of our shutdown circuit team.
The Opportunity
Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking several qualified and experienced Boilermakers to join us for a shutdown in Port Hedland, WA. The initial work scope includes routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of a variety of equipment types such as dust and diesel systems, chutes & liners, and conveyor rollers. To be successful in this role you will need to be available from 23rd February for inductions, PPE collection, and onboarding. Successful candidates will also join our talent pools to be used in future works across remote and regional WA.
About You
* Trade Certificate – Boilermaker / Fabricator
* Construction Induction / White Card
* Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, and Enter and Work in Confined Spaces within 5 years
* Fire Certificate within 5 years
* MSIC – Highly desirable
* Prior experience in a FIFO role performing Boilermaker duties
