Personal Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of our organization, you will provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity.

Your responsibilities will include:
\

1. Assisting with daily living tasks such as domestic assistance, meal preparation, and personal care support
\
2. Providing emotional support and meaningful companionship to clients
\
3. Transporting clients for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings
\
4. Supporting clients with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs
\
5. Engaging clients in social activities and community engagement
\
6. Providing opportunities for clients to participate in hobbies and interests
\
7. Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
\
8. Maintaining accurate records and reports
\
9. Participating in ongoing training and professional development
\
10. Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients
\
11. Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
\
12. Maintaining confidentiality and respecting client boundaries at all times
\
13. Reporting any concerns or incidents to management
\
14. Carrying out other related duties as required by management
\
15. Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations
\
16. Valid NSW Driver's Licence
\
17. Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
\
18. COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
\
19. Basic computer and smartphone literacy
\
