Volunteer Retail Assistant – This volunteer position supports the sale of donated items, caring for donors, and maintaining store operations.

What You'll Be Doing
* Greet customers and welcome them with a warm, friendly attitude.
* Assist with inquiries, providing clear information and guiding customers.
* Support the Donor Care Program: receive donated goods, handle them properly, and communicate with donors.
* Process donated goods – assess condition, functionality, suitability, and price items for sale according to guidelines.
* Stock and display items, ensuring organized presentation and visual merchandising.
* Maintain cleanliness – clean items, the sales floor, and staff areas to keep the environment tidy and safe.
* Follow waste‐management guidelines in line with sustainable practices.
* Ensure a safe environment for customers, visitors, and staff by adhering to safe work practices.
* Maintain health and safety – care for own health and the health of others.
Important Information
Volunteers must be 15 years of age and older.
