This leading Tasmanian firm has a strong focus on giving excellent customer service and being an excellent place to work. They are a well-established brand who are seeking to expand their team with an experienced Senior Business Services Accountant due to a growing client base.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the firm's Partners, you'll be working for and managing a client base of small to medium private businesses. You'll ultimately be responsible for all the accounting and business services requirements, including preparation of financial statements, tax advisory, preparation of BAS, and liaising with the ATO on your client's behalf. You'll also be responsible for dealing directly with clients and also look to give broader accounting advice to them. You'll also have the option to assist with the mentoring of graduates within the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have relevant local experience within professional practice, including excellent communication and customer service skills. You'll either be CA/CPA qualified or currently studying towards and also have the ability to build rapport and work directly with clients.
