The Opportunity

We're excited to offer a newly created Business Support Analyst role within Infringement Services at Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS). In this position, you'll play a key part in identifying, investigating, and analysing business issues related to system faults, enhancements, and new initiatives. You'll undertake user acceptance testing for system changes, contribute to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures, and help ensure our processes and systems are aligned for success.

You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including business and technology teams to define requirements and deliver effective solutions. A major part of your role will be designing and delivering training, developing help resources, and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to operational staff. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how Infringement Services operates and support the Department's mission of safe drivers, safe vehicles, secure identities, and quality service across Western Australia.

There is currently one (1) permanent position/s available for immediate filling.

The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of employment (fixed term or permanent) in this or similar roles for a period of twelve (12) months from date of first appointment.

About you

* Demonstrated knowledge of business analysis and user acceptance testing techniques
* Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to develop quality documentation and liaise with stakeholders
* Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Proven organisational and planning skills, able to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

* Experience with Department of Transport systems, policies, or procedures
* Knowledge of traffic infringement enforcement and management
