About the role
We are seeking a values-driven Area Manager to lead Geelong and surrounding areas. You will oversee retail teams, support Regional Managers, and drive strategic and operational objectives including sales, safety, and community engagement. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Regional Manager to set strategic agendas, including workforce and succession planning.
* Monitor and manage store performance, including eCommerce and customer strategies.
* Manage sales, expenditure, stock, KPIs, and budgets, adopting cost-effective measures.
* Oversee new store openings, renewals, and closures aligned with strategic plans.
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Lead volunteer and employee recruitment efforts.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone with:
* Diploma in Management, Business, or Retail (desired).
* Proven success in retail and leadership management.
* Experience in multi-site retail management.
* Alignment with values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
* Valid driver's license.
