Project Financial Analyst (13 months)

The purpose of this role is to provide project management accounting support and advice to project teams, enabling the delivery of our renewable projects portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
* Strategic partnering with the business to derive timely and relevant information to assist project teams with delivery of the renewable projects pipeline while supporting critical decision-making.
* Driving business unit ownership and accountability for managing project costs.
* Trusted advisor and finance advocate - central point of contact for all project finance-related queries.
* Preparing relevant monthly project reporting for different audiences providing key insights such as cost and schedule variance drivers.
* Supporting project teams in the delivery of project budgets and forecasts, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Requirements:
* A recognized university degree in finance, accounting, or another relevant field.
* More than 7 years' experience in finance roles, including project accounting, business partnering, or management accounting.
* Solid understanding of project lifecycles, project methodologies, and change management processes and their importance in successfully delivering projects.
* Demonstrated experience working with financial/ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
* Some travel to off-site locations may be required.
