The opportunity with us
We are looking for a Digital Solutions Consultant to join our high-performing Digital Delivery Team. You may be based in our Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide offices. Reporting to the General Manager, Digital Solutions, this is a hands-on, technical and consultative role working with Woolpert clients on-site and from the office to deliver quality solutions on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Perform deployment, configuration, and support of VertiGIS suite of products (Geocortex/VertiGIS Studio).
- Configure and support ESRI suite of server and desktop products and applications consulting.
- Perform application testing and quality assurance on a project-by-project basis.
- Conduct performance tuning, usability testing, and automation.
- Perform server and network administration and troubleshooting.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a relevant discipline (computing science, software engineering, or geomatics sciences).
- 3+ years of experience/exposure in GIS or spatial-related commercial roles.
- 3+ years of experience with Database and Cloud services.
- Experience with at least one ESRI technology (ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro Desktop, ArcGIS Online).
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Substantial experience in Enterprise IT environments, particularly Windows Server and Microsoft IIS.
- Solid understanding of Web service technologies and Web GIS.
