Based in the south-east, this established group is excited about their next growth phase. Privately owned and run by two hands-on Directors, this is a newly created role to guide the business through a planned expansion over the next 12-18 months (to over $60m+). An importer and distributor of consumer products, their reputation is A+, and they have the facilities and backing to launch this next phase of their evolution.
As part of their fast-paced head office team, you'll balance both commercial and financial responsibilities in this varied and successful business. Tasks will vary daily, including:
- Contributing to and driving group strategy
- Leading delivery of reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assessing commercial opportunities for growth across product lines, suppliers, customers and acquisition opportunities
- Partnering the Directors, sales, marketing and logistics leaders
- Variance analysis, process improvements and recommendations
- Manage growth and building scalable dashboards and models
- Partnering external advisors and ensuring group compliance
As the group has a small number of high-value clients they supply to, the business is relatively 'un-complicated', currently running comfortably with only two in the finance team. This role could therefore be an exciting opportunity for an 'up and coming' Finance Manager looking to make their mark and be a true CFO over the next few years.
Experienced gained within a growing $30 - $100m group will preferably. This experience could have been with importers/wholesalers, FMCG, retail or other high-volume businesses with exposure to logistics/product distribution.
Salary shall be circa $140k+ super.
