The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive self-starter to become an integral part of our dynamic Inventory team. As an Inventory Officer at CEA you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our stores department. You will support the full spectrum of inventory activities, including the accurate storage, tracking and movement of materials, components and products. You will contribute to maintaining stock levels, improving workflow efficiency and upholding the highest standards of organisation and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain inventory and/or warehousing records. Resolve inventory shortages and recommend appropriate actions.
• Conduct physical counts/cycle checks, for warehouse and customer support locations, in accordance with CEA policy and procedures.
• Process inventory transactions in Inventory Management System (Pronto) to input data, allocate locations; ensuring accuracy and data integrity is maintained.
• Comply with all Import/Export/Re-Export accounting and handling requirements to ensure all Defence items, components and technical data is managed in a consistent, ethical and controlled manner (i.e. EAR, ITAR, and Defence Strategic Goods/Dual-use items).
• Record keeping, filing of stock adjustment forms and associated documents/attachments, in accordance with CEA Policy and regulatory requirements.
• Completing activities / documentation for specific deliveries (e.g. customs and dangerous goods); ensuring compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate:
• Strong computer skills to use inventory/warehousing management systems and Microsoft applications. Proficient with IMS/MRP principles and use of PRONTO advantageous.
• High attention to detail with strong data entry, analytical and process management skills.
• Self-motivated to work autonomously or within a team.
• Knowledge of WHSE and ability to implement safe working practices.
• Demonstrated time management skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and experience meeting strict deadlines.
• High level communication and numeracy skills.
• The ability to do regular lifting and demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling techniques.
• Current Drivers Licence (unrestricted) and Forklift Licence (advantageous).

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Baseline
