Responsibilities
The Yardperson at Edinburghbranch is responsible for the maintenance of the branch yard area and for ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment.
* Load and unload equipment from vehicles using secure loading and unloading procedures.
* Perform general yard duties, including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
* Assist with basic service and repair of non‐high‐risk equipment in a workshop workplace.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar yard support role.
* A current forklift and driver's licence (essential).
* Experience loading and unloading, including knowledge of load restraints (highly desirable).
* A strong knowledge of and commitment to safety.
