We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated National Sales Manager to drive strategic growth across Australia. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities nationally, with a focus on key accounts in heavy industry sectors, to help HYTORC capitalise on the massive potential our world-class products and services offer.

THIS ROLE CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE WITHIN AUSTRALIA!!!

Candidates must hold Australian permanent residency status to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

- Drive new business development nationally with a strong focus on acquiring new customers and securing large/key accounts.
- Identify and target emerging industry segments, including mining, power generation, oil & gas, construction, and other sectors where HYTORC solutions provide high value.
- Build strong relationships with national and regional decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders across industry verticals.
- Work closely with our agents and their sales team to develop and execute account-based growth strategies.
- Proactively identify and qualify business opportunities, lead the end-to-end sales process, and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Deliver sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals tailored to customer needs and value drivers.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies and support solution selling.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Service, Customer Support, Marketing) to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery experience for new customers.
- Travel nationally to pursue new business and develop relationships with potential clients. Occasional international travel may be required for training or strategy meetings.
- Identify emerging industries in the territory and work with the sales team to implement a strategy to pursue as many industries in the country as possible.
- Respond promptly to time-sensitive situations to improve/resolve any pending issues.
- Analyse the market and make intelligent decisions to capitalise on current conditions.
- Extensive national travel required to engage with key accounts and generate new opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

- 5+ years of proven success in business development or sales management within Australia, ideally with experience growing large/key accounts.
- Must have experience in heavy industry sectors (e.g., mining, oil & gas, construction, power generation, etc.).
- Candidates must demonstrate experience in at least two heavy industry sectors to be considered for this role.
- Strong hunter mentality — with demonstrated ability to identify, pitch, and win new business.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of sales performance metrics (KPI, pipeline management, close rates, etc.).
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to operate autonomously and work cross-functionally.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Exposure to mechanical or industrial tools/equipment is a plus.

Key Relationships

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager – HYTORC ANZ and collaborates closely with the Agents, Sales team and internal departments to drive new growth.

Travel

The successful candidate must be available to travel nationally 40-60% of the time to engage with key accounts and generate new opportunities.
