**About the role**
The Operations Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative support to the Regional Operations Manager, Area Managers, HR Business Partner and broader QLD Country Operations team.
Specifically, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to:
- Maintain and monitor systems that support operations, including purchasing, learning and finance
- Provide support in relation to our safety management systems, policies and procedures
- Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective internal, external and corporate customers
- Distribute key regional operations information to both internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake administrative project work as required
- Act as a super user of Kronos - our time and attendance system; provide high level support to operations leaders
- Coordinate regional training for employees and support the annual post-winter harvest.
**About your experience**
You'll also have:
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within occasionally within the region and provide frontline operations support
- Sound written and oral communication skills and the ability to construct professional documents (MS Office)
- Intermediate ability in MS Excel; a bonus if you have some experience with finance, procurement and/or people systems
- High attention to detail and timeliness in completing work; a proactive approach to work in general
- Positive outlook and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Bonus: basic understanding of payroll, return-to-work coordination and safety, health and environment.
