Role
Your role will include:
Fire Safety Design – Develop and implement fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, and passive fire solutions, to ensure compliance and safety.
Risk Assessment & Analysis – Conduct fire risk evaluations, smoke control studies and emergency response planning to enhance building fire resilience.
Regulatory Compliance – Ensure designs meet Australian fire codes, standards and local authority requirements.
Collaboration & Integration – Work closely with architects, engineers and project teams to incorporate fire engineering solutions seamlessly into building designs.
Performance-Based Solutions – Apply innovative, performance-based fire engineering approaches to optimise safety while balancing design and operational efficiency.

What we're looking for
We need a candidate with:
Fire Systems Design Expertise – Proven experience designing and implementing fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, smoke control and passive fire solutions.
Risk Assessment & Compliance – Strong knowledge of Australian fire codes, standards and regulatory requirements with hands-on experience conducting fire risk assessments.
Project Delivery – Demonstrated ability to manage fire engineering aspects in complex building projects from concept design to construction and commissioning.
Collaboration & Communication – Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, liaising with architects, engineers and clients to integrate fire safety solutions.
Innovation & Problem-Solving – Ability to apply performance-based fire engineering approaches, optimising safety while maintaining design flexibility and efficiency.
