POSITION
We have full-time positions for Fruit Farm Workers available in Mareeba 4880 QLD.
SKILLS
You require at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role as a Fruit Farm Worker is to perform routine tasks as directed to assist with in papaya crop cultivation.
POSITION DUTIES
* Meeting with farm supervisors to receive assigned tasks.
* Collecting and preparing equipment for daily use.
* Completing any prestart machinery checklists.
* Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining equipment and machinery.
* Harvesting of papaya fruit.
* Sorting Grading and packing papaya.
* Stacking, stickering, tray labelling and light cleaning duties
* Operating machinery to perform misting, spraying, slashing and fertiliser duties.
* Maintenance and repair of irrigation lines and sprinklers.
* Additional duties may be required from time to time as required by the business.
SALARY
The salary offered will be $65 000 to $75 000 per annum negotiated based on your experience.
