We're seeking a skilled Agronomist to join our team in Northern NSW. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of agronomic practices, experience in providing impactful agronomic advice, and a track record in sales with fertiliser, seed, and chemical products.
About the Role
As an Agronomist, you will be pivotal in strengthening customer relationships in Australia's largest cotton and broadacre farming area. You'll report to the Branch Manager and work as part of a dynamic team to provide agronomic and technical support, alongside product sales both in-store and on-farm.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with diverse crops including cotton, sorghum, wheat, barley, chickpeas, and faba beans.
* Collaborate with seasoned professionals and innovative producers to enhance farm productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
* Foster both existing and new client relationships by understanding and aligning with business goals.
* Organize field days and farmer meetings to stay aligned with the latest in plant production practices.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with:
* A degree in agricultural science or a related field.
* A valid driver's license.
* Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
