Requirements
* Qualified Civil Engineering Technician with at least 4 years experience on site supervision including work experience with Fire Pump Sets
* Experience in interpreting drawings and specifications and ensuring site compliance
* Experience in site inspection and supervision of implementation of technical documentation
* Demonstrated project coordination experience
A fully valid Driving license & Qualification
* Willingness to work hands on in various sites across Melbourne
* Minimum 4 years experience of inspection of fire pump systems, sprinkler lines, plumbing networks and pump set configuration.
* The ability to start early onsite at 7am
* Strong communication skills & able to liaise at all levels
* Ability to obtain a Police Check & Working with Children's Check
* High level of ethical standards
* Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
* Technical and software skills:
*
o Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Manager
* Engineering Software: SAP2000, ETABS
* AutoCAD: Drafting and design for structural and services layouts
* Building Services Knowledge: HVAC, plumbing, and fire pump & sprinkler inspection
Responsibilities
* Supervise installation and maintenance of Fire Pump Sets ensuring compliance and accuracy
* Diagnose/report faults and troubleshooting
* Conduct Preventative Maintenance
* Inspections & quotes
* Day to day repairs
* Other tasks as required
