About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer / Software Engineer to support a Federal Government client delivering a large-scale enterprise digital transformation program.
You will join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and play a key role in designing, developing and enhancing ServiceNow platform solutions that support modern, citizen-focused digital services.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations in line with best practices
* Perform JavaScript development and configuration using Flow Designer, UI Builder and Business Rules
* Deliver both custom-built and out-of-the-box ServiceNow solutions
* Work closely with business analysts, service designers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical outcomes
* Enhance and support existing ServiceNow modules and applications
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and solution designs
* Identify and implement platform and process improvements
* Stay current with new ServiceNow features and capabilities
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience developing and supporting ServiceNow applications and integrations
* Strong experience in Service Portal development, including widget customisation, HTML, CSS and AngularJS
* Ability to gather requirements and deliver practical technical solutions
* Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or ServiceNow Agile module
* Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Skills
* Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
* ServiceNow certifications, such as:
o Certified Application Developer (CAD)
o Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM or similar)
* Ability to adapt and learn emerging technologies in enterprise environments
