Role In
this role you will: Operate front deck mowers (ride on mowers) in a safe and efficient manner to contribute to the maintenance of Townsville's Parks and Open Spaces Some gardening, mulching, brush cutting and litter pickup may be required within the Parks Team Demonstrated experience in the area of gardening and mowing activities is required Safe operation of plant, equipment and hand tools is required Perform minor maintenance on your plant and equipment (for example blade changes, clean screens and filters, fluid checks, pre-start activities) About
You Our
ideal candidate will have: Current manual "C" class driver licence (essential) Knowledge of, or ability to obtain knowledge of road signage and traffic control requirements as associated with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (Part 3 2010) Ability to safely operate a range of light plant, machinery and equipment associated with maintenance and construction projects within a rural and urban environment Ability to operate computerised equipment (e.g. mobile phone, phone applications, data loggers, GPS, etc.) Sound problem solving skills with the ability to achieve creative, effective and efficient solutions to challenges and changes Effective time and workload management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to obtain team objectives How to
