Falcon Group is a dynamic expanding organisation operating across four businesses in the construction and crane industry.
With approximately 100 employees and continued strong growth, we are building solid systems and structures to support our teams across Queensland and beyond.
We are seeking a capable and organised HR Co-ordinator to support our management team in coordinating HR processes, systems, and compliance as we continue to grow.
About the Role
Reporting to the Business Manager, the HR Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring consistency and compliance across the Group's HR practices.
The focus is on supporting managers—rather than managing employees directly—by providing structure, guidance, and tools to help them effectively manage their teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support managers with recruitment, job ads, shortlisting, and onboarding.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate documentation.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and position descriptions in Employment Hero and One Drive.
Coordinate performance and salary review schedules across the Group.
Monitor training, licences, and tickets for compliance and currency.
Assist managers in preparing letters, templates, and performance-related correspondence.
Support compliance with the Building and Construction General On-site Award ****.
Prepare HR reports and assist with audits, compliance checks, and HR projects.
Work with payroll to ensure employee changes, allowances, and classifications are accurate.
Support management with the rollout of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Skills and Experience
Proven HR or administration experience, ideally within construction, engineering, or related industries.
Strong understanding of HR processes and award interpretation.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to support and guide managers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Employment Hero (or similar HR systems).
High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred but not essential).
