**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are looking for an experienced and professional administration officer to join our dedicated team in our **Canberra office**. Your skills will further WIN's goal of providing quality education to all students, to enable entry into worthwhile careers. The administration officer position is offered on a **full-time, permanent** basis.
**THE ROLE**
As an administration officer at Wentworth Institute of Higher Education, you will be responsible for a range of duties within the institution, with a heavy focus on student support and management.
Core responsibilities include:
- Developing and continuously improving materials
- Recording and following up on student attendance and course progress
- Managing student enrolment records in our student management system
- Managing and storing online class records
- Preparing graduation documents and arranging collection
- Developing and updating administrative forms and templates
- Implementing processes informed by policy to ensure compliance with higher education regulations
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
**Essential skills**:
- Excellent, professional interpersonal communication and negotiation skills - both in-person and virtually
- Proficiency in technology use, including software like Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and student management systems
- Ability to work individually with limited supervision and within a small team
- Strong understanding of cultural diversity and sensitivity
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proactive and passionate about student experience
**Desirable skills**:
- Multilingual
- Experience working in the education industry, particularly at an RTO in the VET/CRICOS environment for international student recruitment in Australia
- Proficiency in using Canvas Learning Management System
- Familiarity with VET/CRICOS relevant regulations and legislation
- Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment **(Optional)**:
- Personal and professional networks in Canberra and/or Sydney
**KEY DETAILS**

- **Salary**: $24-$28 per hour (based on experience)
- **Hours**: Full-time Monday - Friday, with the option to work from home on Fridays
