I'm a 21-year-old living in the beautiful Collie area, and I'm looking for an awesome support worker to join my team. If you're reliable, motivated, and love making a positive impact, this might be the perfect job for you!
I’m seeking assistance to help me live my life to the fullest. Your role will involve supporting my dignity, providing personal care, and assisting my family with some household chores. As I am non-verbal, I need someone who is creative and patient in finding ways to communicate with me. I currently have a wonderful team of support who provide a high standard of care, so I am looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into this already fantastic group.
Ideal Team Member:
- Experience in managing seizures, personal care, PEG management, and manual handling is a plus. But don't worry, my team are happy to provide training if you’ve got the right attitude and values.
- Must be respectful, consistent in your support, and a trustworthy team player.
- Must have a driver's licence and your own reliable transport.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Screening, the ‘Quality, Safety and You’ NDIS Worker Orientation Module, and ‘Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals.’
- Willing to undergo a medical assessment.
- Fortnightly Saturday 8am-8pm
- There is also frequent availability for cover if you’re interested in taking on extra hours.
Casual Pay Rates:
- Mon-Fri: $40/hr
- Sat/Sun: $46/hr
- Public Holiday: $61/hr
